ExpoGenie Show Pricing Benchmark · Fall 2026

What small and mid-size association shows charge exhibitors and sponsors

We read the published prospectus, rate sheet or exhibitor page of association trade shows and conferences and pulled every booth rate, sponsor tier and add-on we could verify. Here is what they charge, and a quick way to see where your show sits.

Booth pricing

Price per square foot, show by show

Each dot is one show's standard booth rate divided by its booth area. The dark bar is the median. Tables are left out because they have no published area.

One showMedian

Only groups with at least 8 shows are charted. Education, professional, banking and public safety shows are in the totals but not shown on their own yet.

How shows package it

What usually comes with a booth or a sponsorship

badges included with a standard booth
sponsor tiers in a typical ladder
top tier price compared with the bottom tier
price jump from one tier to the next
shows offer exhibitors an attendee list
shows had something marked sold out on their public pages

Booth assignment

Most shows still place exhibitors by hand

Among shows that say how booths get assigned, most have staff place exhibitors or take booths first come, first served. Very few let exhibitors pick a spot on a live floor plan.

What we measured

Standard-period rates, not early bird. Price per square foot is the standard rate divided by booth area. Member and non-member rates are kept separate. All figures are medians, not averages.

When a number is shown

We only show a figure when at least 8 shows are behind it, and we say how many. Smaller groups are counted in the totals but not reported on their own.

Checking

An independent reviewer re-checked 19 shows field by field against their published sources. Corrections were made before anything was published here.

Who is in it

What it isn't

A survey of what shows actually collect. Published rates can differ from negotiated deals, and some shows don't publish pricing at all, so they aren't in the sample.
